Love watching my little girl learn things and do things on her own! The other day I was Doing laundry and she was sitting in it. She grabbed a shirt and put it over my face and pulled it down and laughed really hard. So the second time she did it I said peek a boo! And she kept doing it! So cute. Then today I walked in to get her from her nap and she was standing up, she bent down and then popped up real fast and giggled. So I said peek a boo! And she kept Doing it and cracking up! So much fun! I love it! We have a busy weekend so i will probably not
Be blogging until Monday!

Party Planning!

Whoops! Haven't posted in a while because I have been so busy planning Brynnley's first birthday party! The planning so far has been a pain in the butt! You would think planning a first birthday party wouldn't be so complicated. I figured a month ahead of time was enough but apparently not! After making my list of people to invite we decided to have it at a park would be the best choice. Well apparently everyone in SA likes to have their parties at parks because I called several and they were all booked through April! Finally I found one with a date I was happy with! And thank God it worked out because I had already started planning in my head to have it there! A friend of mine recommended the girl she used to custom make her invitations to me and they turned out cuter that ever!(Thank you Laura!:]) It was all so reasonably priced as well! I am so impressed and happy with her design! I think I will be able to get the invitations out today. Then everything else is easy from there! I know where I am getting the decorations & pretty much how they are going to go up! So I have everything planned to the very smallest detail! Very very excited! :] I can't wait to put everything together!
As far as Brynnley is concerned we haven't hit any big milestones lately. She is kind of side walking holding onto furniture but mostly crawling as fast as she can EVERYWHERE! Sometimes I think she isn't close to walking by herself, then other times I think she could be. Either way, I'd rather her not walk. I am excited for it to happen as I am with all new things that she does. BUT, I feel like as soon as she starts walking it will really hit me that she is about to turn one and she isn't a baby anymore. I am so not ready! I miss her being little! She is still so little but so big! Yesterday, I put all her newborn pics out on our walls & I just can't get over how tiny she was! But it sure is/has been a joy watching her grow and learn. OH! I know a new thing she is doing. She knows how to put the blocks in her giraffe toy! IT IS SO CUTE! She also HATES to wear sunglasses. BUT, if someone else is wearing them it cracks her up! She tries to put them on top of her head like you would if you aren't wearing them on your eyes. HAHA its too cute! She is the sweetest little girl! Oh I forgot to mention last time I blogged that we are down to one nap! She made the transition herself! She just started refusing to take a 2nd nap! So we knocked it down to one and she has done beautifully with it. She is so easy going and I love it. WE ARE SO BLESSED! :]

11 months old

Whew! 11 months old today. I can't believe how fast Time has went by. Brynnley has 8 teeth, says momma, dada, Gigi, fish, fishy, kitty. She is standing up on everything. She crawls super fast( I can barely keep up with her!), starting to walk with her dinosaur toy, waves at everyone & when you tell her to say hi or bye. She is getting more teeth at the moment but I can't tell where because I can't look in her mouth without getting bit! :) she is such a joy and I love being able to spend every day all day helping her learn, takin care of her and watching her grow. Today we went shopping for her birthday party decorations! I am having so much fun planning her party! It is going to be so much fun!! :) I'll end with this:
Brynnley woke up crying (which she never does) I went in and tried comforting her and then finally picked her up and tried rocking her but she just wanted her daddy. As soon as he took her she was still and curled up on him and fell asleep. So sweet! I can't believe how fast she has grown up. Moments like tonight are the moments I will cherish forever!!!!!!!!

1st taste of Chinese food :)

She is just like her momma! Loves her some beef & broccoli!

Things that make me proud, thankful and sad...

A lot of things have been running through my mind as we are quickly approaching Brynnley's first birthday. I was watching the Lifetime movie "The Elizabeth Smart Story" last night, and just balled my eyes out. It just made me so thankful that the Lord has protected my child and kept her safe. Although, she had a traumatic delivery, has been healthy ever since. I will have to share my delivery experience through blog so Brynnley can worship me forever when she reads it later on.... LOL totally kidding. Sometimes I wonder how I am worthy of such a tremendous blessing. Brynnley has yet to be sick, has never had diaper rash, I've made all her baby food myself, although our nursing journey was cut short at 7 months she continued to receive breastmilk until 10 months. These are things I am very proud of. I am sure there are lots of grammar errors but I am just throwing my thoughts out there and don't care at the moment.
I got a call from my dr's office (in Fl) reminding me of an appointment & that it had to be rescheduled because Dr. Lemert had a surgery he had to do. It makes me CRAZY sad that I won't get to go back to Dr. Lemert for our second child. ( although we aren't planning for another until Brynnley is at least 4)  I LOVE DR. LEMERT. I know there are other good dr's out there but my experience with Dr. Lemert was out of this WORLD & he made a traumatic situation the best it could have possibly been. UGH. Also, the friends I made through my breastfeeding group at the hospital... I MISS THEM. I was looking forward to attending all their little first birthday parties and Brynnley being able to go to theirs and now it's sinking in that that's not going to happen. :[ Hopefully, we can visit Florida sometime in the future and all meet up again!

I am also in the middle of trying to plan Brynnley's first birthday party! It is exciting but stressful at the same time. Also, trying to figure out some good ideas of what to get her for her first birthday. It is going to be a fun party but simple. I am excited but sad. I can't believe how fast it has gone. I will never forget what it felt like to finally get home with my sweet girl. The first thing her dad wanted to do was let her sleep on his chest and we have pics to remember that moment. All I wanted to do was just hold her and stare at her. Being pregnant is so surreal and once that baby girl was in my arms I never wanted to let her go. I still dont. ;] well my little munchkin is trying to go out the doggy door... or cat door... whatever it is LOL. thats all the babbling I have for now. :]

She is starting to stand up a lot more. Today she walked with her dinosaur toy which she has done a little before but did completely by herself today! Yay! :)

Well bye bye bottle!

A full day with no bottle! I didn't think it was going to be an issue but only because we have the new avent sippy cup! She just loves it! I'm so proud. It is such a bittersweet thing watching her grow it brings me so much joy, yet I feel so sad looking back on this year. I am so thankful I took as many pictures as I did because it sure is fun to go back and look at them! I am wishing I would have started blogging a long time ago because it would have been fun to remember how I was feeling and what I was thinking! I have been looking at different things for planning her first birthday party which is just about a month away! I can't believe it! Tonight at dinner, brynnley ate carrots, avocado noodles, cheese,, chicken and was drinking milk out of her sippy. I just can't believe how grown up she is! Which I know I am repeating myself there but its crazy because it doesn't seem that long ago that she was a newborn! I just love her and cherish every single minute! Well I'm going to bed like an old woman! :) night night!

March 13, 2012

Yesterday was a big day for us! We started introducing whole organic milk and officially got rid of the bottle! A few friends referred me to avents new sippy cup because we have tried several different sippy cups and she would rather turn them upside down and bang on the floor/table and she never drinks a sufficient amount. So we went on a mission yesterday for the avent sippy cup and some organic whole milk! She will be 11 months on the 19, she is super healthy & has gained enough weight over the past 11 months that I figured it was ok to go ahead and start milk. Yay for us it went well. She loves it! I'm so proud of my big girl! She also loves the avent sippy so I am glad we tried it! I will be glad to put the bottles away! We had a fun day already today. Brynnley has been super busy and everywhere this morning already and has rearranged the Tupperware cabinet! :) she is now down for a nap so I am going to go get some things done! :)
